… a note to subscribers

It appears that the service that The Legal Genealogist uses to send blog posts out electronically does something a bit odd when the word for electronic mail is used in the post and set off in parentheses.

It converts it to the electronic mail address of the recipient.

So if you received the post earlier about speaking out on the proposed sale of the National Archives facility in Seattle, with its recommendation that you send electronic mail to the federal agencies involved in the decision, the service may well have inserted your address into the post in the wrong place.

Twice.

The suggestion was that you send electronic mail to:

1. The head of the Office of Management and Budget, acting director Russell T. Vought. His email is Russell.t.vought@omb.eop.gov.

2. The agency proposing the sale of the property, the Public Buildings Reform Board. Its email is fastainfo@pbrb.gov.

You don’t need to send it to yourself… twice.

Sorry about that…
