One last chance for summer camp for genealogists
For some, it’s an absolute tragedy.
For you, however, it could be that unexpected opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Because some people had life issues come up and, yesterday, sighed deeply and — with regret — cancelled out of a class registration at the Institute for Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR) at the University of Georgia in Athens July 21-26. As of midnight last night, the deadline for withdrawing from classes and getting a refund, at least one seat had opened up in almost every course offered at IGHR.
Which means that you, today, have one last chance to get into a class you want at IGHR. But the deadline for grabbing one of those seats is tight — you need to act before today’s deadline — 11:55 p.m. Eastern time tonight, Monday, July 1.

This happens every year, this one day window of opportunity between the deadline for withdrawing from classes and the close of registration. And for those who’ve been watching longingly as pictures are posted and memories shared of great summer classes for genealogists it’s an act-now-or-else moment.
So… if your life issues have changed and you’re now in that “I wanna go” category and in the “yes I can go” category as well, here’s your chance.
But only until 11:55 p.m. Eastern time tonight.
